Jim Nelson's expertise is grounded in more than 14 years ofengagedmanagement of engineering, technical and product development teams. He has worked as an engineering manager, project team leader, six sigma black belt and design engineer at major corporations including Caterpillar, Nilfisk-Advance and McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing. Mr. Nelson's experience is supported with a complementary education that he continuously updates and builds on. He has a BS in engineering from Minnesota State University, an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University and various continuing education programs from the University of Minnesota. A natural change agent and leader, his management consulting focuses on product development and process improvement, especially in areas of collaborative design, cross-functional project involvement, knowledge management, quality and product strategy implementation.
